This Valentine’s Day, Hong Kong held its first ‘McWedding’, providing a more affordable alternative to couples. At only US$1,282 a pop, it includes invitations, rings and decorations. In addition to choice of Mickey D’s finest fare, the service also includes a wedding cake made of apple pies.
But when obesity is on the rise worldwide, beginning one’s wedded life in the shadow of the Golden Arches may not be such a wise idea.
McDonald’s has been offering wedding ceremonies around the world since 2002.
